## Executive Summary
Lamar Jackson’s 2026 season hinges on a new offensive system—and his willingness to adapt.

## Intelligence Brief
Lamar Jackson has begun publicly embracing the Ravens’ revamped offensive scheme under first-year offensive coordinator Declan Doyle. In interviews, Jackson has praised the system’s complexity, calling it ‘mind-blowing,’ and acknowledged the challenge of adjusting to a new approach after years of leading the offense. He also highlighted improved team chemistry as a key offseason development, framing it as a foundation for success this year.

Coverage emphasizes Jackson’s shift in tone, with outlets noting his rare openness about adapting to a role that may require less direct control. The *Baltimore Sun* and *Bleacher Report* focus on his acknowledgment of being ‘challenged’ in ways he wasn’t accustomed to, while *Yahoo Sports* underscores the team’s offseason unity as a potential turning point. The Ravens’ official narrative frames this as a year of transformation, with Jackson at the center.

Watch for how Jackson’s on-field performance aligns with his stated embrace of the new system. Early training camp observations and preseason games will reveal whether his verbal commitment translates into execution. Speculation may also grow around whether Doyle’s offensive philosophy—if not yet fully defined—will prioritize Jackson’s signature improvisation or a more structured playbook.
