## Intelligence Brief
A high-profile medical investigation is unfolding as Dr. Neal ElAttrache, who serves as the team doctor for the Rams, faces scrutiny for alleged connections to performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs). According to reports from Yahoo Sports, the physician is currently under investigation. This medical professional is widely known in professional sports circles, having previously served as a surgeon for Tom Brady and more recently operating on Joe Burrow in 2020, as detailed by the Cincinnati Enquirer. The scope of the inquiry extends beyond the NFL, involving multiple sports leagues and high-profile athletes. Coverage from The New York Times and NESN emphasizes that Major League Baseball is taking direct action in this matter.

Specifically, The New York Times reports that MLB will question the Dodgers' doctor regarding the use of banned drugs. NESN further specifies that MLB's conversations with the doctor, who is also linked to the Dodgers and Tom Brady, involve alleged PED use by Conor McGregor. These reports highlight a coordinated effort by league officials to determine the extent of the physician's involvement with prohibited substances and whether these practices impacted various professional athletes across different disciplines. To understand the significance of this development, it is necessary to note the prestige associated with the physician involved. As the Cincinnati Enquirer notes, Dr. Neal ElAttrache is a prominent surgeon whose client list includes elite figures such as Joe Burrow and Tom Brady.

Because he holds positions of trust with the Rams and the Dodgers, any confirmed link to banned substances would represent a significant breach of medical ethics and league regulations. The crossing of boundaries between the NFL, MLB, and combat sports like those involving Conor McGregor suggests a wide-reaching network that leagues are now attempting to map. Looking forward, the primary focus remains on the outcome of the questioning conducted by Major League Baseball. The coverage indicates that the league is actively seeking information about banned drugs and the specific allegations involving Conor McGregor. Because the investigation is ongoing, the sports world is waiting to see if the findings will lead to sanctions or further inquiries involving the Rams or the Dodgers. While the investigation has been made public by multiple outlets, the current reports do not specify the exact nature of the evidence or the specific substances involved in the alleged PED use.
