Telegram revives its smartwatch presence with a native app push across Apple Watch and Wear OS—five years after its exit.

## Intelligence Brief
Telegram has reintroduced its messaging app for Wear OS and Apple Watch, expanding its ecosystem to smartwatches after a five-year hiatus. The update includes core features like chats, voice messages, GIFs, and video support, alongside AI-powered tools for group management. Coverage highlights the app’s compatibility with major brands—including Samsung Galaxy Watch, Huawei smartwatches, and Apple Watch—with outlets like *SamMobile*, *9to5Mac*, and *Benzinga* emphasizing its seamless integration and broader functionality.

The rollout aligns with Telegram’s broader push into AI-driven features, such as the newly introduced *AI Guardian* bots and enhanced bot formatting. Reports from *FoneArena* and *blockchain.news* note the app’s native design, which improves responsiveness and user experience compared to its previous web-based approach.
