## Intelligence Brief
Apple has announced that software support will terminate for 16 devices—including select iPhones, iPads, and Macs—this fall. Coverage highlights the specific models affected, which span from older iPhone models to mid-range Macs, and warns users that unsupported devices will no longer receive security updates or new features.

The Mac Observer, AL.com, and MacRumors are leading the reporting, listing the exact devices impacted and urging users to upgrade or prepare for potential vulnerabilities. The outlets emphasize the importance of timely action, as unsupported devices become exposed to security threats and compatibility issues with newer apps.

Watch for follow-up guidance from Apple on upgrade paths, potential discounts on newer models, or third-party solutions for extending device lifespans. Coverage may also shift to user reactions, particularly among those reliant on older hardware for work or personal use.
