> **Open Intelligence Dossier** · First detected: 2026-06-13 18:07 UTC · Category: World

## Executive Summary
US-Israel tensions escalate as Netanyahu skips Trump’s G7 Middle East summit amid shifting regional diplomacy

## Intelligence Brief
Reuters, Bloomberg, and AP News emphasize the G7’s focus on trade (US-India talks) and geopolitical tensions, particularly Trump’s discussions on demining the Strait of Hormuz—a priority tied to the potential Iran war deal. The Jerusalem Post frames Netanyahu’s absence as a diplomatic snub, though no official reason has been provided.

Coverage does not yet specify whether Israel’s participation in other G7 sessions is affected. Watch for reactions from Israel’s government and regional allies, as well as any fallout from Trump’s direct engagement with Middle East partners without Netanyahu.
