> **Open Intelligence Dossier** · First detected: 2026-06-14 17:07 UTC · Category: World

## Executive Summary
Former U.S. President Trump publicly criticizes Netanyahu’s judgment amid escalating Israel-Iran tensions while signaling continued support for an Iran deal.

## Intelligence Brief
The comments come amid heightened regional tensions following Israel’s latest military actions in Lebanon. Coverage emphasizes the apparent contradiction in Trump’s stance—publicly questioning Netanyahu’s leadership while maintaining his position on an Iran deal.

The *Times of Israel*, *The Guardian*, and Axios have all reported on the remarks, framing them as a rare public rebuke from a key U.S. political figure. What to watch next: Whether Trump’s comments signal broader political or diplomatic shifts in U.S.-Israel relations, and how Netanyahu’s government responds to the criticism.

Coverage does not yet specify any immediate fallout from the remarks, but the timing—amid escalating strikes—suggests potential ripple effects in both domestic and international policy discussions.
