## Intelligence Brief
President Trump is scheduled to preside over a ceremony at the White House to award the Medal of Honor. According to reports from the White House official government website and other news outlets, this high-level military honor will be bestowed upon three individuals. The recipients include veterans who served in the Vietnam and Afghanistan conflicts. One specific recipient highlighted in the coverage is a highly decorated ENC Marine, whose individual ceremony is set to take place on Thursday. Coverage of the event is being handled by several distinct media outlets.

The New York Times has detailed that three Medals of Honor are being awarded in total, specifically noting the connection to the Vietnam and Afghanistan wars. Meanwhile, The Hill is providing an avenue for the public to observe the event, offering a live stream for those wishing to watch President Trump participate in the ceremony. WITN has provided specific scheduling details, confirming that the event for the highly decorated ENC Marine is slated for Thursday at the White House. To understand the context of these awards, it is necessary to note that the Medal of Honor is the highest military decoration. The recipients recognized in this specific round of awards represent a span of military history, covering service members from the Vietnam era as well as those from the more recent conflict in Afghanistan.

The inclusion of a highly decorated ENC Marine suggests a focus on recognizing long-standing military achievements and bravery that may have been identified for honor during the review process of these specific service records. Looking forward, observers will be watching the live broadcast provided by The Hill to see the official proceedings. The White House (.gov) and WITN reports indicate that the focus remains on the Thursday timeline for the ceremonies. Future developments will likely involve the official announcement of the names of all three veterans receiving the honor, as the current coverage has specifically named the ENC Marine but maintains the broader group as veterans of the Vietnam and Afghanistan wars.
