## Executive Summary
President Trump has issued a threat to impose tolls on the Strait of Hormuz following Tehran's declaration that the waterway is closed.

## Intelligence Brief
In response, President Trump has threatened to implement U.S. tolls on vessels navigating the transit point if a final agreement with Iran is not reached within a 60-day window. Coverage from France 24, The Times of Israel, Reuters, and PBS emphasizes the conditions attached to this proposed policy.

While reports indicate that the President suggests Iran will not charge tolls, he maintains that the U.S. may impose them if talks collapse. Future developments hinge on whether a diplomatic deal is finalized within the specified two-month period.

Official sources have not yet provided further details on how such toll enforcement would be executed.
