A massive leak suggests Apple is expanding its smartphone strategy with six new models and the debut of a foldable iPhone.

## Intelligence Brief
Reports from several technology outlets indicate that Apple is planning an expanded smartphone lineup for next year. According to coverage from 9to5Mac and The Mac Observer, a leaker has outlined a strategy involving six new iPhone models. This expansion comes as Apple is reportedly already initiating preparations for upcoming flagship devices. Specifically, Wccftech notes that the company is said to be beginning work on the iPhone 20 Pro and a device identified as the iPhone Fold 2, suggesting a diversified hardware approach for the next product cycle. The scale of Apple's upcoming release schedule is a primary focus across the reports.

Digital Today reports that Apple intends to unveil more than 15 new products this fall. Within this broad product launch, the first foldable iPhone is highlighted as a central focus of attention. The consistency of these reports across different outlets, including the detailed outline provided by the leaker mentioned by 9to5Mac, emphasizes a significant shift in the number of models Apple intends to bring to market simultaneously. Contextually, the introduction of a foldable device represents a new category for Apple's smartphone business. The mention of an iPhone Fold 2 by Wccftech implies a sequence of foldable developments, while Digital Today frames the first foldable iPhone as a key highlight of the fall window.

This suggests the company is moving toward a more complex product matrix, moving beyond the traditional few-model release strategy to encompass a wider variety of form factors and specifications to compete in the flagship market. Future developments to monitor include the official unveiling of the more than 15 products scheduled for this fall. Observers will be looking for confirmation regarding the six distinct iPhone models outlined by the leaker. Additionally, the specific capabilities of the iPhone 20 Pro and the progression of the foldable technology, as referenced in the reports from Wccftech and Digital Today, will be critical points of interest as the company moves from preparation to a formal product launch.
