Meta is implementing a new pricing structure and usage restrictions for its smart glasses. These changes include a paywall for specific features, including an offline accessibility tool, and the introduction of rate limits on conversation-focused capabilities. Reporting from outlets such as The Verge, Digital Trends, Engadget, and Android Police emphasizes that these restrictions apply even to features that function locally on the device.
