## Executive Summary
Amazon has confirmed it possesses sufficient satellite capacity to initiate its Leo broadband internet service by the end of 2026.

## Intelligence Brief
Amazon announced that its Leo network has reached a satellite count nearing 400 units following a recent launch. This infrastructure is reportedly sufficient to support the deployment of an initial, limited broadband internet service. The company expects to begin these consumer operations later this year.

Coverage from Reuters, CNET, GeekWire, Yahoo Finance, PYMNTS.com, and Seeking Alpha emphasizes the competitive positioning of the service against Starlink. Reports focus on the operational milestone achieved by the latest midnight launch, which solidified the network's readiness for its upcoming service rollout.

Future developments hinge on the activation of the Leo network for its limited pilot phase. Coverage does not yet specify which regions will receive the initial service or provide a precise date for the public launch.
