## Executive Summary
Lenovo pulls the plug on its G02 handheld, a $60 “Game Boy” pre‑loaded with pirated Nintendo and Sega ROMs.

## Intelligence Brief
Lenovo announced the termination of its G02 handheld, a device that resembled a Game Boy and was sold for about $60. The handheld came with pre‑installed Nintendo and Sega game ROMs that are illegal to distribute.

Coverage from Kotaku, Android Authority, Time Extension, Retro Dodo and Gizmodo stresses the piracy‑packed nature of the product and describes it as a shady emulation device. Reports label it “controversial” and note the pre‑loaded illegal games as the key issue.

Future monitoring will focus on any official statement from Lenovo about replacement hardware, potential regulatory scrutiny, and whether similar emulation devices reappear in the market.
