Haeran Ryu has made sports history by recording a score of 60 during the third round of the Amundi Evian Championship.

## Intelligence Brief
Golfer Haeran Ryu has achieved a historic milestone during the third round of the Amundi Evian Championship. According to reports from ESPN and Yahoo Sports, Ryu shot a 60, which stands as the lowest round ever recorded in the history of a major championship. This performance took place on day three of the tournament, marking a significant shift in the leaderboard. The record-breaking score has positioned Ryu as a central figure in the competition as the event progresses toward its conclusion. Major media outlets are providing extensive coverage of this achievement.

Fox News described the performance as astounding, while the LPGA officially noted that Ryu carded the lowest round in major history. ESPN focused on the record-setting nature of the 60-score, and Yahoo Sports emphasized that this specific mark is the lowest ever seen in a major championship. The reporting across these diverse platforms underscores the rarity of such a low score in the context of high-stakes professional golf. Contextual details from the BBC indicate that this record-breaking surge by Ryu had a direct impact on other competitors. Specifically, the BBC reports that Lottie Woad, who had previously held a strong position, slipped out of the lead as a result of Ryu's historic third-round performance.

This shift highlights the volatility of the leaderboard at the Amundi Evian Championship and the immense pressure placed on the leaders when a competitor produces a record-breaking round of this magnitude. Looking forward, the focus remains on the final stages of the Amundi Evian Championship. Based on the provided coverage, observers will be monitoring how Ryu's record-setting momentum carries into the final round and whether Lottie Woad or other contenders can recover their positions. While the coverage does not specify the current exact point gap between players, the primary point of interest is how this historic 60 will influence the final outcome of the major championship.
