## Executive Summary
A major leak reveals a $200 LEGO set recreating the classic Donkey Kong arcade cabinet, featuring an interactive and playable design.

## Intelligence Brief
A series of leaks across multiple gaming and tech outlets has revealed an upcoming collaboration between LEGO and Nintendo. The set is designed as a retro Donkey Kong arcade machine, transforming the classic coin-op cabinet into a buildable model. According to reports from Video Games Chronicle, IGN, and My Nintendo News, the set is expected to carry a price tag of $200. The leak includes a first-look image of the cabinet, which highlights a project that honors the original arcade classic and brings a physical version of the vintage gaming experience to LEGO enthusiasts. Coverage from a wide array of sources emphasizes the interactive nature of the build. Korben reports that the machine can actually be played, while softonic.com notes that the set includes a moving Jumpman figure.

Outlets such as 9to5Toys and Nintendo Life have highlighted the first-look images that surfaced online, providing early details on the product's appearance. Other outlets, including Eurogamer.net and Kotaku, describe the set as a continuation of LEGO's trend of creating retro gaming hardware, with Yahoo and t3.com suggesting that this coin-op build may be the best addition to the retro gaming series yet. This development follows a pattern of LEGO producing high-end, nostalgia-driven sets targeted at adult collectors and gaming historians. The Donkey Kong arcade machine represents one of the most iconic pieces of hardware in Nintendo's history. By recreating the cabinet and including mechanical elements like a moving character, LEGO is positioning the set as more than a static display piece. Insider Gaming and DualShockers characterize the project as a "game about a game," emphasizing the meta-commentary of building a physical recreation of a digital gaming landmark.

Future updates will likely center on official confirmation and release dates from Nintendo and LEGO. While GoNintendo reports that Nintendo has teased the set, official specifications beyond the leaked $200 price point have not been fully detailed. Observers are now waiting to see if the playable aspect mentioned by Korben involves a digital screen or a mechanical simulation. Additionally, 9to5Toys has linked this leak to a wider trend of new releases, which may include other themed sets such as LEGO Pokémon, as the partnership between the two companies continues to expand.
