## Executive Summary
Russia and Ukraine exchange heavy missile and drone salvos, resulting in multiple casualties across Kyiv, Odesa, and other Ukrainian locations.

## Intelligence Brief
The scale of the offensive involved 13 missiles and 115 drones, which resulted in recorded hits and falling debris across 24 different locations. In the overnight strikes on Kyiv alone, reports of injuries varied, with CBS News stating 10 people were injured, while AP News, Al Jazeera, and Euronews.com reported that 11 people were wounded. These attacks occurred as part of a broader exchange of strikes between the two nations. Coverage from several major international outlets emphasizes the rising casualty counts and the scope of the aerial assaults. The Moscow Times reported both that eight people were killed and dozens wounded, and separately that nine people died as the two nations exchanged strikes.

Al Jazeera also reported nine deaths during the trading of missile and drone salvos. NBC News provided a different casualty figure, stating that two people were dead and 19 others were wounded as Russia targeted Ukraine with its combined missile and drone forces. Contextual reports indicate that this violence is not one-sided, as both countries have engaged in reciprocal attacks. AP News specifically notes that Ukraine conducted attacks on Russian vessels in conjunction with the Russian strikes on Kyiv. The tactical use of a high volume of drones, totaling 115 in one instance, highlights the current nature of the aerial conflict where missiles and unmanned aircraft are used simultaneously to hit numerous targets across the region, including major cities like Odesa and the capital city of Kyiv.

Looking forward, the situation remains volatile as both Russia and Ukraine continue to trade salvos. Observers will be monitoring the impact of the 24 locations where hits and debris were recorded according to Українська правда. Future developments depend on the continued exchange of strikes, the effectiveness of Ukrainian defenses against drone swarms, and the outcome of Ukrainian operations targeting Russian naval vessels as reported by AP News.
