Outlets including Variety, People.com, USA Today, Vulture, Refinery29, and The Washington Post have published coverage detailing behind-the-scenes decisions, narrative adjustments made from the source material, and discussions regarding potential future seasons. The project has drawn attention for its cast, its thematic focus on grief and friendship, and its distinct tonal departures from other serialized dramas.
