# Crimson Desert on PS5 and Xbox Series X Has Hit a New Low Price at Amazon

> **Open Intelligence Dossier** · First detected: 2026-07-12 10:07 UTC · Category: Technology

## Executive Summary
Crimson Desert hits Amazon’s lowest ever price, sparking a wave of console game discounts.

## Intelligence Brief
The reports describe the Amazon listing as the lowest price the game has ever been offered on that retailer. The price drop appears alongside a broader set of console‑related promotions highlighted in the same articles. Crimson Desert, widely regarded as a leading fantasy game of 2026, has attracted attention for its pricing because rival blockbuster releases have moved in the opposite direction.

The GTA 6 price increase, cited by Collider, has created a contrast that retailers are exploiting by discounting alternative titles. Amazon’s decision to list the game at an unprecedented low suggests a strategy to capture price‑sensitive console owners and to boost sales volume amid competitive pressure. Future coverage should watch for any further adjustments to the Amazon listing, as well as additional promotions announced by the same outlets.

Observers may also track responses from the game’s publisher regarding the discount strategy.
