## Executive Summary
A rare planetary parade on July 12 features the Moon appearing alongside Mars, Saturn, and Uranus in a significant celestial alignment.

## Intelligence Brief
A rare celestial event known as a planetary parade is occurring on July 12, 2026. According to reporting from NDTV, this alignment will feature the Moon appearing alongside Mars, Saturn, and Uranus. Various news sources have highlighted the timing and visibility of the event, with the Akron Beacon Journal and Reno Gazette Journal both providing guidance on when observers should look up to view the planetary alignment over the weekend. The event is characterized by the proximity of these celestial bodies in the night sky, creating a visual spectacle for observers worldwide. Coverage of the event spans multiple international outlets, emphasizing different regional views.

Euro Weekly News reports that Spain is poised to witness a rare six-planet show, noting that a large portion of the population may be unaware that the event is taking place. Meanwhile, reports from People's Daily Online and Xinhua focus on observations in Northeast China, specifically in Heilongjiang, where a crescent moon and the Pleiades star cluster have been seen. The Guardian's Starwatch feature additionally notes that a waning crescent moon is pairing up with the Seven Sisters, further diversifying the astronomical sightings associated with this period. Understanding this event requires recognizing the rarity of such alignments. The convergence of multiple planets and the Moon in a specific sector of the sky is an uncommon occurrence.

The mention of a six-planet show in Spain, as detailed by Euro Weekly News, suggests a broader alignment than just the three planets mentioned by NDTV. Future observations will center on the specific visibility of these planets as the alignment progresses. While NDTV identifies Mars, Saturn, and Uranus as key participants for July 12, observers in Spain will be looking for the larger group of six planets. The continued pairing of the waning crescent moon with the Pleiades, or the Seven Sisters, as highlighted by The Guardian, remains a point of interest. Coverage does not yet specify the exact hours of peak visibility for every global region, but the general window of the July 12 weekend is the primary focus for astronomers and the general public.
