## Executive Summary
Free-agent wide receiver Stefon Diggs asserts he is the premier No. 2 receiver in the NFL as he seeks a new team before training camps begin.

## Intelligence Brief
Free-agent wide receiver Stefon Diggs has made a public pitch to NFL teams, claiming that there is no second-option receiver in the league who is better than he is. This assertion comes as Diggs continues to seek a new professional home during the current free agency period. According to reports from ESPN and NFL.com, the former Buffalo Bills player used a video to send this message to potential suitors, framing himself as the top choice for any team looking to bolster their receiving corps with a high-level No. 2 target. Major sports media outlets including Fox News and NBC Sports are highlighting Diggs' insistence that no team possesses a better No. 2 receiver than him. However, coverage from Yahoo Sports indicates that not everyone is in agreement with this claim, noting that a Bills insider has taken issue with the specific nature of the 'best WR2' pitch.

Additionally, Sports Illustrated reports that certain players and teams, specifically George Pickens and the Dallas Cowboys, would disagree with the assessment Diggs has put forward regarding his standing among the league's second-tier receivers. This development is occurring just before the start of NFL training camps, making Diggs' availability a point of interest for several franchises. CBS Sports notes that by ranking himself atop the NFL's No. 2 wide receivers, Diggs is attempting to make himself more signable in the free agency market. Other coverage examines specific team dynamics affected by these comments, with Bengals Wire suggesting that Tee Higgins might take issue with the claim, while Yahoo Sports has already begun speculating on five potential landing spots for the veteran receiver. Looking forward, the focus remains on which NFL team will eventually sign Diggs.

While some analysts are weighing his fit with various rosters, others are narrowing the possibilities; for instance, Pats Pulpit indicates that a return to the New England Patriots is unlikely. Yahoo Sports has also framed Diggs' comments as a question that should specifically make the Washington Commanders consider their options. The outcome will depend on whether a team views Diggs' self-assessment as a valuable asset for their offensive structure before the season begins.
