## Executive Summary
Activision confirms crossplay support between PS4 and PS5 for Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and 2.

## Intelligence Brief
Recent coverage details developments surrounding classic titles in the Call of Duty franchise, specifically focusing on console compatibility and software reviews. Coverage highlights the technical landscape for players engaging with these older titles on current Sony consoles, though broader industry reactions or simultaneous reporting from other media outlets are not detailed in the currently available data. This trend emerges against the backdrop of ongoing interest in backward compatibility and legacy game support across modern gaming platforms, where publishers and hardware manufacturers frequently revisit classic catalogs.

Players and analysts continually monitor how older multiplayer and single-player experiences transition to newer architectures, particularly for massive franchises with enduring dedicated fanbases like Call of Duty.
