## Executive Summary
Ukraine is intensifying its strategic campaign against Russian energy infrastructure and maritime logistics through wide-scale drone strikes.

## Intelligence Brief
Ukraine has launched a series of coordinated drone attacks targeting Russian oil refineries, depots, and maritime vessels. According to the Kyiv Post, these strikes have reached Moscow and resulted in three deaths. Specific targets identified across various reports include the Syzran Oil Refinery, as documented by satellite imagery from Українська правда, and the Afipsky Refinery, which Bloomberg.com reports was on fire. Additional strikes hit refineries in the Krasnodar and Bashkortostan regions, including a Gazprom refinery in Bashkortostan that Українська правда reports was ablaze. Simultaneously, Gwara Media reports that Ukraine's Security Service targeted ten Russian military, logistical, and fuel objects in a single night. The maritime campaign in the Sea of Azov has seen significant escalation.

The Kyiv Independent reports that drones struck 15 more Russian vessels, bringing the total number of ships targeted in the Sea of Azov campaign to 105. Other reports from Українська правда mention the targeting of 11 more ships overnight. This naval pressure has had a direct impact on regional logistics; Ars Technica states that drone strikes forced Russia to stop shipping in a vital sea corridor, while Reuters notes that shipping remains restricted in a key Azov Sea grains trade route. UNITED24 Media further reports that over 50 Russian ships have fled the Sea of Azov and are now hiding in the Black Sea. This trend reflects a strategic shift toward crippling Russian energy exports and logistical capabilities. Foreign Policy suggests that Russian energy is now at Ukraine's mercy due to these systemic attacks.

The focus on refineries in distant regions like Bashkortostan and Krasnodar indicates a broadening of the operational reach of Ukrainian drones. The intersection of these attacks—hitting land-based fuel production and sea-based transport—creates a multifaceted disruption of the Russian supply chain, particularly concerning the movement of fuel and grain through the Azov region as highlighted by Scripps News and Reuters. Future developments will likely center on the continued viability of Russian shipping in the Sea of Azov and the operational status of the targeted refineries. Monitoring will focus on whether more Russian vessels relocate to the Black Sea as suggested by UNITED24 Media and the extent of the damage at the Afipsky and Syzran facilities. Coverage from Reuters and other outlets indicates that the restriction of grains trade routes remains a critical point of contention. Observers will watch for further reports from the Security Service regarding the targeting of military and logistical objects and whether drone strikes continue to penetrate the airspace of Moscow.
