## Executive Summary
Brighton has completed a club-record signing of Croatian teenage defender Luka Vušković from Tottenham in a deal valued up to £50 million.

## Intelligence Brief
Brighton has finalized the acquisition of Croatian defender Luka Vušković, who joins the club from Tottenham. While different reports vary slightly on the exact valuation, the move is described across multiple outlets as a completed deal. The player is a teenager who has previously gained attention for his performances in the Bundesliga, according to reports from Yahoo Sports. Media coverage of the transfer is widespread, with several major outlets highlighting the financial scale of the move. The BBC and The Guardian both report that the transfer fee is a club record for Brighton, citing a figure of £46 million.

Other sources provide different valuations; Sky Sports and Yahoo Sports report the deal at £50 million, while Cartilage Free Captain lists the move at £48 million. Additionally, The Washington Post reports the cost of the transfer as $60 million, emphasizing the high price point for the young Croatian defender. Contextual reporting from The New York Times indicates that the signing of Vušković is part of a broader defensive revamp currently being undertaken by Brighton. This suggests the club is actively restructuring its backline through strategic acquisitions. The move is particularly noteworthy because it involves a transfer between two high-profile entities, Brighton and Tottenham, and centers on a player who has already made a name for himself in the German Bundesliga league system.

Looking ahead, the focus remains on how the Croatian defender will integrate into Brighton's revamped defensive unit. Because coverage from multiple sources, including the BBC and The Guardian, labels this a club record signing, the performance of the teenager will likely be scrutinized relative to the high financial investment. Future updates will likely track his transition from Tottenham and his first appearances for the Brighton squad following this completed transfer.
