## Executive Summary
Director Christopher Nolan and 20 actors crammed into a massive prop to film a pivotal scene for the upcoming film ‘The Odyssey’.

## Intelligence Brief
Director Christopher Nolan has filmed a pivotal scene for his latest project, ‘The Odyssey’, by physically cramming himself and 20 actors inside a massive Trojan horse. This production choice highlights the scale of the filming process for the movie. In tandem with the production, a full-scale version of the horse has been installed in New York City to mark the world premiere of the film. The installation serves as both a promotional centerpiece and a physical representation of the movie's themes as the world premiere approaches. Coverage from multiple outlets emphasizes the sheer scale of the promotional effort.

Variety reports that Universal created an 8,800-pound Trojan horse specifically for the world premiere. This physical detail is echoed by reports from NBC New York and W42ST, which both state that a 40-foot Trojan horse has landed at Lincoln Center. Additionally, the West Side Rag confirms that this 40-foot statue was erected directly in front of a movie theater located on the Upper West Side, placing the spectacle in a high-visibility area of the city. To understand the context of this trend, one must look at the intersection of Nolan's directorial methods and the marketing strategies employed by Universal. The Hollywood Reporter's focus on the cramped conditions inside the horse during filming suggests a commitment to practical effects and immersive environments.

The placement of the 8,800-pound prop at Lincoln Center indicates that the studio is treating the world premiere as a major event, utilizing a physical landmark to draw attention to the film's arrival in the public sphere. Going forward, observers will likely look for more details regarding the world premiere event at Lincoln Center. Since the 40-foot statue is already in place on the Upper West Side, the focus remains on the official debut of ‘The Odyssey’. Based on the reports from Variety and NBC New York, the presence of the massive installation sets the stage for the film's release.
