## Executive Summary
Google is offering a rare, temporary window for Pixel 9 and 10 owners to enroll in Pixel Care+ protection plans.

## Intelligence Brief
Google has announced a limited open enrollment period for Pixel Care+, providing a new opportunity for users of the Pixel 9 and Pixel 10 to secure device protection. This initiative, confirmed by Google via its own blog, allows owners who may have missed the initial sign-up window to now add this coverage to their devices. According to a report from jetstream.blog, this open enrollment is specific to the Pixel 9 and Pixel 10 series but notably excludes the Fold models. This temporary window serves as a second chance for eligible users to protect their hardware through Google's dedicated care service. Android Police describes this as a rare second chance for owners to purchase the service, while Android Authority notes that Google is giving these specific users another shot at the program. 9to5Google emphasizes that the offer is temporary in nature.

Additionally, Android Headlines has urged Pixel 9 and 10 owners to take immediate advantage of the current offer to ensure they do not miss this window of availability. Contextual reports indicate a significant expansion of the service's availability. Tech Advisor highlights that Pixel Care+ has finally arrived in the United Kingdom, marking a geographic expansion of the protection plan's reach. For many users, the ability to enroll after the initial point of purchase is uncommon, as these protection plans typically have strict enrollment deadlines. The current trend reflects a strategic move by Google to increase the attachment rate of its care services for its latest hardware generations in both domestic and international markets.

Observers should monitor the specific closing date of this open enrollment period, as coverage from 9to5Google and blog.google indicates the offer is only temporary. Users of Pixel Fold devices will need to verify if separate arrangements exist, given their exclusion from this specific enrollment window as reported by jetstream.blog. Further updates from Google may clarify the exact duration of this window and whether similar offers will be extended to other device models or additional regions beyond the recently added UK market.
