These offers are aimed at a broad spectrum of gamers looking to acquire new software at a reduced cost during the mid-summer period. Coverage from several major gaming and technology outlets emphasizes the scale and accessibility of the event. Polygon.com reports that the sale includes massive discounts on high-profile franchises, specifically naming Resident Evil and The Witcher as part of the available deals.

Meanwhile, Kotaku highlights a specific segment of the sale, pointing out that the event includes a substantial number of PlayStation 5 games priced at $15 or less. Looking ahead, the immediate focus remains on the available discounts across the PlayStation Store. Based on the provided coverage, the sale is currently live as of July 15. Users can continue to monitor the store for the hundreds of games mentioned by Digital Trends and specifically look for the VR and VR2 titles highlighted by UploadVR.
