## Executive Summary
FromSoftware has announced a closed network test for its upcoming title, The Duskbloods, scheduled for August 21 to 23.

## Intelligence Brief
FromSoftware is preparing to launch a closed network test for its newest project, titled The Duskbloods. According to reports from Gematsu, the testing window is officially scheduled to take place from August 21 to August 23. This limited event represents the first significant opportunity for players to potentially engage with the software during a specific timeframe next month. The company is utilizing this period to conduct a network test, which will allow a selected group of users to experience the game before its wider release. Multiple industry outlets are tracking the development and rollout of this event.

Game Informer notes that some players might be able to play the title during this specific window, while Kotaku explicitly confirms that a closed network test is arriving next month. Video Games Chronicle has reported that the network test dates are now confirmed. Further details from Wccftech indicate that the company is effectively lifting the veil on The Duskbloods starting August 21, and that registrations for the network test are expected to open soon. Contextually, this event is significant because it marks a transition from secrecy to public visibility for the title. Nintendo Everything is focusing on the timing of the event, emphasizing exactly when the network test is happening.

The coordinated reporting across these six sources suggests a high level of anticipation for the project, as FromSoftware is known for its specific approach to game design and network integration. The move to open registrations soon indicates that the developer is moving into the final phases of technical validation for the game's online infrastructure. Observers will be watching for the official opening of the registration process, as Wccftech suggests this will happen shortly. Because the test is designated as a closed network test, access will not be universal and will likely depend on the registration results. The primary focus for the next few weeks will be the confirmation of how users can sign up and the specific platforms that will be supported during the three-day window from August 21 to August 23, as the industry awaits the first hands-on impressions of the title.
