## Executive Summary
Tensions escalate in the Middle East as the US launches a fourth night of strikes on Iran and restarts a naval blockade.

## Intelligence Brief
The United States has entered a fourth consecutive night of military strikes against Iran, according to reports from CNN and The Hill. These latest operations involved hitting dozens of military targets within Iran. Simultaneously, CNN reports that the US has restarted a naval blockade. Iran has responded to these actions, with reports from Euronews.com indicating that Iran has attacked US bases. Major news outlets are closely monitoring the escalation. CNN is providing live updates on the naval blockade and the ongoing aerial campaign.

The Hill reports that the scale of the US offensive has reached dozens of military targets in the most recent round of engagement. Meanwhile, Euronews.com highlights a specific shift in the conflict, noting that while Iran attacks bases, the US is threatening to target power plants. Al Jazeera's live coverage of the Iran war focuses on the resolve of the US administration regarding the duration of these military operations. Contextual details from the coverage indicate a high level of executive involvement in the strategy. Axios reports that President Trump held a meeting in the Situation Room specifically to discuss these massive new strikes on Iran. This suggests a coordinated effort to increase pressure through both kinetic strikes and maritime restrictions.

The transition from targeting military sites to threatening infrastructure, such as power plants, as mentioned by Euronews.com, marks a significant point of escalation in the current hostilities between the two governments. Future developments will depend on the directives of the US presidency and the continued response from Tehran. Al Jazeera reports that Trump has stated the strikes will continue until he decides that enough has been done. Observers will be monitoring whether the US proceeds with the threatened hits on Iranian power plants and how the restarted naval blockade affects regional stability.
