Home Depot is expanding its 2026 Halloween collection with the return of the 12-foot-tall Skelly and the introduction of new yard giants.

## Intelligence Brief
Home Depot has announced its 2026 Halloween collection, featuring the return of the company's well-known 12-foot-tall skeleton, referred to in coverage as Skelly. This year's rollout includes not only the return of the massive skeleton but also the addition of new companions and yard giants to accompany the figure. These new additions are part of a broader array of spooktastic decor intended for the upcoming holiday season. Multiple major media outlets have highlighted the return of the skeleton. CNN reports that the collection features Skelly alongside new yard giants and various other decorations.

USA Today specifies that Skelly is returning with new Halloween giants for 2026. ABC News and Good Morning America both focused on the fact that the 12-foot-tall Skelly has returned and has brought friends along with him this year. Additionally, IGN reports a significant technological update to the product, stating that the 12-foot-tall skeleton now possesses the ability to talk, adding a new interactive element to the animatronic. The return of Skelly is a notable event for the retailer's Halloween strategy, as the figure has become a recognized staple of their seasonal inventory. By introducing new yard giants and accompanying characters, Home Depot is expanding the scale of its outdoor decor offerings.

The inclusion of talking capabilities for the skeleton suggests a shift toward more advanced animatronics in the 2026 lineup. This expansion of the 'giant' category is designed to provide consumers with larger, more complex installations for their homes as the October holiday approaches. Future developments will likely center on the availability and specific features of the new yard giants mentioned across the reports. While the coverage confirms that Skelly is back with friends and new talking capabilities, the specific identities or types of the other companions have not been detailed beyond being called 'friends' and 'yard giants.' Potential buyers and observers will be watching for the official release of these spooktastic decor items as Home Depot continues to roll out its full 2026 Halloween collection to the public.
