Golf fans are tracking live coverage, tee times, and streaming schedules for the 154th British Open taking place at Royal Birkdale.

## Intelligence Brief
The 154th British Open is currently underway at Royal Birkdale, with the tournament progressing into its third round. Coverage from CBS Sports, Golf Channel, and Golf Digest indicates that pairings and tee times for Saturday's Round 3 have been established. The event has transitioned from the initial Thursday start, which was documented by GOLF.com and NBC Sports, into the critical weekend phase where the field is narrowed. The competition is centered on the quest to lift the Claret Jug, with a focus on both international stars and hometown players. Major sports outlets are providing comprehensive guides on how to access the action.

NBC Sports, Yahoo Sports, and CBS Sports have published detailed TV schedules, streaming guides, and channel information to help viewers navigate the broadcast. The coverage emphasizes the logistics of watching the tournament, including specific tee times for the third round. Meanwhile, The Guardian has provided live updates starting from day one at the Royal Birkdale course, ensuring a continuous stream of information as the leaderboard shifts throughout the weekend. Contextual data from ESPN identifies Scottie Scheffler as the favorite entering this final major of the year, with Rory McIlroy listed as the next most likely winner. However, the tournament has already seen significant shakeups, as Golf Channel reports that Jordan Spieth, the reigning winner at Birkdale, has missed the cut due to struggles with his putting.

Yahoo Sports has further provided educational content for the audience regarding how the cut line is determined at Royal Birkdale to explain why certain players are sent home early. Future attention will remain on the Saturday Round 3 pairings and the subsequent move toward the final round. Observers will be monitoring the updated odds and predictions, including those from a golf model cited by CBS Sports that has previously predicted 17 majors. As the tournament reaches its conclusion, the focus will shift from the missed cut lists and the specific struggles of players like Spieth to the final standings of the favorites and the possibility of a hometown victory at the Royal Birkdale venue.
