## Executive Summary
Google has rebranded NotebookLM to Gemini Notebook and announced a high-tier update for AI Pro subscribers featuring 3.5 and Antigravity.

## Intelligence Brief
This transition is part of a broader naming trend at the company. Alongside the name change, Google is introducing a significant upgrade specifically for users of Google AI Pro. This update incorporates version 3.5 and an addition referred to as Antigravity, marking a technical evolution of the tool's capabilities for its premium subscriber base. The coverage of this transition is widespread, with reports appearing in The Verge, TechCrunch, Engadget, and CNET. Digital Trends describes the shift as a serious upgrade for AI Pro members, while Thurrott.com and Lifehacker focus on the rebranding aspect of the news.

However, the reception is not universally positive; MakeUseOf has characterized the latest update as the service's biggest disappointment. These reports collectively highlight a shift in how Google is integrating its Gemini branding across different productivity and research tools. Technical details emerging from the coverage suggest changes beyond the user interface. Search Engine Roundtable reports that Google has renamed the NotebookLM useragent to Google-GeminiNotebook. This specific change has drawn attention from Search Engine Journal, which warns that the rebranding of the tool may potentially expose websites to an increase in AI scraping.

This context is critical for web publishers and site administrators who monitor how AI agents interact with their hosted content and the implications for data privacy and traffic. Looking forward, the primary focus remains on the rollout of the 3.5 and Antigravity upgrades for AI Pro users. While the name change is immediate, the practical impact of the Antigravity upgrade will be a key point of observation. Additionally, stakeholders in the web ecosystem will likely monitor the Google-GeminiNotebook useragent to determine if the concerns regarding increased AI scraping mentioned by Search Engine Journal manifest into measurable trends in web traffic or data extraction.
