## Intelligence Brief
Recent sports coverage details significant contract extensions across Major League Baseball and the National Football League. According to reporting from Yahoo Sports, Red Reporter, CBS Sports, Motor City Bengals, WLWT, Sports Illustrated, NBC Sports, The New York Times, and MLB.com, the Cincinnati Reds and All-Star starting pitcher Chase Burns reached an agreement on a seven-year, $105 million contract extension just twenty-six starts into his big-league career. Additional baseball coverage from MLB.com, MASN, Camden Chat, ESPN, and MLB Trade Rumors documents right-handed pitcher Kyle Bradish signing a five-year contract extension with the Orioles, which is reported to be worth $90 million and makes him the highest-paid pitcher in Baltimore history. Meanwhile, NFL reporting from the Miami Herald, Yahoo Sports, Field Gulls, and the Miami Dolphins official team site confirms that linebacker Jordyn Brooks signed a new contract extension with the Dolphins, a $51.3 million deal that drew coverage noting the Cowboys lost out on their top linebacker target. The coverage extensively emphasizes these major financial commitments, utilizing multiple sports news outlets to track the monetary figures and team implications.

For the Reds and Chase Burns, publications like The New York Times and NBC Sports framed the agreement as a record-setting deal for a rising ace. Outlets such as ESPN and MLB.com broke news regarding Kyle Bradish's status as the highest-paid pitcher in Orioles franchise history, while MASN and Camden Chat provided localized team perspectives on the five-year pact. In football coverage, Yahoo Sports and the Miami Herald highlighted that Jordyn Brooks's new contract completes the foundation of the Dolphins' core defensive pillars, while Field Gulls and Yahoo Sports noted the broader impact on teams like the Cowboys who missed out on securing the former Seahawks linebacker. Context provided within the reports shows these extensions arriving at critical junctures for the respective franchises as they lock up core talent. For Chase Burns, the agreement occurs remarkably early in his professional tenure, following twenty-six major league starts, prompting commentary and reactions across other organizations such as the Tigers and Mariners regarding potential blueprint strategies for young players.

Kyle Bradish's extension with Baltimore solidifies the top of the Orioles' rotation with a major financial investment. In Miami, Jordyn Brooks's $51.3 million agreement is analyzed by the Miami Herald and Yahoo Sports as the final piece in finalizing the Dolphins' foundational roster construction. Future developments will depend on how teams approach subsequent roster decisions and player movements following these major signings. Coverage notes specific questions about who might be next to sign among remaining targets for the Dolphins, and how other clubs like the Tigers and Mariners might respond to the extension patterns established by teams like the Reds. Fact-checkers note that while terms and figures are heavily detailed across multiple sports networks and team-specific channels, any future updates will depend on official club announcements and subsequent on-field performances.
