## Executive Summary
Astronomers discover a third planet hiding for a decade in the Beta Pictoris system using the Webb telescope.

## Intelligence Brief
Astronomers have discovered and directly imaged a third planet within this well-known system, bringing to light a celestial body that remained hidden for ten years before being identified. Coverage across the participating publications places heavy emphasis on the duration of time the planet remained concealed.

The revelation that an additional planet remained undetected for an entire decade underscores the ongoing challenges and gradual advancements in direct imaging techniques used to study distant star systems and their surrounding planetary bodies. As coverage of the discovery continues, observers and interested readers are directed to watch for further peer-reviewed publications and formal announcements from the research teams involved.

The available reports do not yet specify the precise orbital characteristics, mass, or atmospheric composition of the newly imaged exoplanet. Future updates from the scientific community are expected to provide additional data regarding how this third planet interacts dynamically with the other known bodies in the Beta Pictoris system.
