## Executive Summary
The Seattle Mariners have reactivated outfielder Julio Rodríguez from the concussion IL, resulting in the designation of Miles Mastrobuoni for assignment.

## Intelligence Brief
According to reports from MLB.com, Rodríguez had been sidelined due to a concussion, which kept him out of the lineup since July 2. To facilitate this roster move, the organization has designated outfielder Miles Mastrobuoni for assignment. This sequence of personnel changes ensures that the team's star outfielder is available for immediate play following his recovery period and subsequent activation from the injured list. Coverage of these roster adjustments has been widespread across major sports media outlets. MLB.com and The Seattle Times specifically emphasize that Rodríguez is returning from the concussion IL.

ESPN highlights the team's welcome of the outfielder back into the lineup, while CBS Sports and MLB Trade Rumors focus on the corresponding move involving Miles Mastrobuoni. The reporting across these six sources confirms a simultaneous act of bringing back a key starter while removing a depth player from the 40-man roster to maintain league compliance. This move is significant because it restores a primary offensive presence to the Mariners' lineup after a gap in availability that spanned from early to mid-July. The context provided by the coverage indicates that Rodríguez's absence was the result of a concussion, necessitating a period of medical recovery before he was cleared to return to the field. The designation of Mastrobuoni for assignment is the direct administrative consequence of this activation, as teams must manage their roster limits when moving players from the injured list back to the active squad.

Looking forward, the primary focus remains on Julio Rodríguez's integration back into the lineup following his time away since July 2. Observers will monitor how his presence affects the team's performance now that he is active. Additionally, the status of Miles Mastrobuoni remains a point of interest, as being designated for assignment puts him in a period where he may be traded, waived, or reclaimed by his previous organization, though the coverage does not yet specify the exact outcome of his designation.
