## Executive Summary
Xbox Game Pass expands with new titles and day-one releases while also preparing to lose several high-rated games.

## Intelligence Brief
Recent coverage details significant shifts in the Xbox and PC Game Pass library as new software becomes available to subscribers. Windows Report noted that over twenty games were scheduled to arrive on Xbox between July 20 and July 24. Additionally, reporting by en.softonic.com highlights that Xbox Game Pass added two extra July perks for subscribers, specifically free rewards for League of Legends and Wuthering Waves. At the same time, the catalog is experiencing departures. Military.com reported that Xbox Game Pass is losing two of its highest-rated games along with six additional titles, with the removals scheduled for July 31.

The simultaneous influx of new content and impending roster cuts forms the core of the current coverage surrounding the subscription service. Coverage does not yet specify the exact identities of all incoming and outgoing games beyond the general figures and specific perk titles provided by the respective outlets. In broader industry news tracked alongside these platform updates, ixbt.games reported on the announcement of Japan's best-selling games under the headline declaring that a new king has been chosen. While distinct from the subscription platform updates, this sales data forms part of the wider set of gaming headlines monitored during the period. The available reporting documents these concurrent events without providing further analytical context linking the Japanese sales charts directly to the changes occurring on the Game Pass service.

Readers and subscribers following these developments must look to future announcements to understand the full long-term impact on the subscription catalog. Coverage does not yet specify what replacement titles might be scheduled to follow the July 31 departures, nor does it detail how platform metrics are affected by the addition of the day-one releases and perks. Outlets continue to monitor the shifting availability of software across Xbox and PC systems as the month concludes.
