## Executive Summary
Ukraine has launched a series of drone strikes targeting oil depots and logistics hubs in Russia, including a major 'Russian Amazon' retail network.

## Intelligence Brief
Ukrainian drones have carried out a large-scale attack targeting various sites across Russia, with a specific focus on the Moscow region and Moscow Oblast. According to reports from Українська правда and Reuters, the operation resulted in fires at an oil depot and a Wildberries warehouse. The strikes targeted warehouses and other strategic sites, leading to significant casualties. The Hill reports that 9 people were killed and over 60 wounded, while other reports from NPR and Al Jazeera specify at least 8 deaths and dozens of injuries. AP News and an earlier report from The Hill cited 7 fatalities and more than 50 wounded in the affected Russian regions. Multiple international media outlets have emphasized the severity of the impact on civilian and commercial infrastructure.

CNN describes these as the deadliest Ukrainian attacks inside Russia for two years, specifically noting that eight warehouse workers were killed. The Telegraph characterizes the operation as a revenge attack, highlighting the targeting of warehouses belonging to what it describes as the 'Russian Amazon.' BBC reports that these online retail warehouses were specifically hit by the deadly strikes, while Reuters confirms the death of seven warehouse workers and the sparking of a fire at the aforementioned oil depot in the Moscow region. Contextual coverage indicates a shift toward targeting Russian logistics and retail hubs. The involvement of the Wildberries warehouse, as noted by Українська правда, demonstrates the strike's focus on the Moscow Oblast's commercial infrastructure. The scale of the drone operation and the resulting casualty counts—ranging from 7 to 9 deaths across different reports—underscore the increasing intensity of these long-range strikes. The focus on warehouses and oil depots suggests a strategy aimed at disrupting logistics and energy storage within the Russian interior, moving beyond frontline military targets.

Future developments depend on the extent of the damage to the oil depot and the retail infrastructure. Coverage from The Telegraph and other outlets indicates that these attacks were framed as revenge, suggesting that further retaliatory strikes may occur. Observers will be monitoring for official responses from the Russian government regarding the loss of warehouse workers and the operational status of the Moscow region's oil supplies. While the immediate casualties have been reported by CNN and Al Jazeera, the total number of wounded remains high, with NPR and The Hill citing more than 60 individuals injured across the targeted regions.
