> **Open Intelligence Dossier** · First detected: 2026-07-19 15:07 UTC · Category: Technology

## Executive Summary
A July 19 leak hints Garmin's CIRQA tracker may debut with stress‑monitoring EDA sensors and a visible price tag in the company's backend.

## Intelligence Brief
Electrodermal activity sensors detect changes in the skin’s electrical conductance, a metric often linked to sympathetic nervous system activity. If integrated, the CIRQA could offer users real‑time insights into stress levels alongside its existing fitness tracking capabilities. Separate coverage from Gadgets & Wearables on the same day shows that the CIRQA price is visible within Garmin’s own backend system. Garmin has a long history of releasing GPS‑enabled wearables, ranging from running watches to multisport devices.

Adding EDA sensors would align the CIRQA with a broader industry push toward stress and emotional state tracking, features that have become common in competing smartwatch platforms. Current Garmin devices focus on heart‑rate monitoring, VO2 max estimation, and GPS tracking, while many rivals have already added EDA or similar stress‑tracking technologies. The market context underscores why the potential sensor addition has drawn attention from analysts monitoring wearable innovation. Observers are advised to watch for an official Garmin statement or product unveiling, as the leak suggests the company is moving toward finalizing the CIRQA’s feature set and pricing.

Future coverage from technology outlets, including Gadgets & Wearables, may confirm the sensor integration or provide the exact price. Potential timelines include Garmin’s annual product showcase, typically held in the fall, where new hardware is announced. Monitoring Garmin’s corporate communications and upcoming trade shows will help verify the leaked details.
