## Executive Summary
Iran declares it is engaged in a 'full-scale war' with the United States following recent strikes and US vows of retaliation.

## Intelligence Brief
Iran has officially declared that it is currently engaged in a 'full-scale war' with the United States. According to reports from Arab News and RTE.ie, the Iranian leadership is framing the current state of hostilities as a comprehensive conflict. President Pezeshkian has addressed the situation by calling for national unity and justice as the country attempts to navigate these specific wartime challenges, as detailed by Tasnim. Coverage of this escalation is being tracked across multiple international outlets including The Times of Israel, Arab News, and RTE.ie.

These reports emphasize the shift in terminology to 'full-scale war' and the immediate tension resulting from recent military actions. The coverage from Tasnim focuses on the domestic response within Iran, specifically the calls from President Pezeshkian for the population to maintain unity and seek justice while the nation faces these heightened security challenges and the pressures of an active wartime environment. Contextual details provided by the coverage indicate that this state of war follows military strikes. The gravity of the situation is highlighted by the involvement of mediators who are attempting to intervene.

According to The Times of Israel, these mediators have reportedly proffered a 10-day truce in an effort to halt the immediate escalation and provide a window for potential diplomatic resolution between the two nations. Future developments center on whether the proposed 10-day truce mentioned by The Times of Israel will be accepted by the combatants. Additionally, the focus remains on President Pezeshkian's ability to maintain the national unity he has called for as Iran manages the operational and social challenges of what it now defines as a full-scale war. Coverage does not yet specify the exact terms or the architects of the proposed truce.
