## Executive Summary
Ryan Reynolds confirms a new Deadpool movie is in development, promising to adapt several "deep cuts" from the original comic books.

## Intelligence Brief
Actor Ryan Reynolds has officially confirmed that a new Deadpool movie is currently in the works. This announcement comes as Reynolds returns to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for another sequel following the success of Deadpool & Wolverine. According to reports from Yahoo, the major update regarding the franchise was delivered by Reynolds during his appearance at Fanatics Fest. The news establishes that a future installment is planned, although specific production timelines were not detailed in the initial reports. Extensive coverage of the confirmation has been provided by major entertainment outlets including Variety, Deadline, and The Hollywood Reporter. Gizmodo and NME also reported on Reynolds' confirmation that another film is coming.

A key point emphasized across these reports, specifically by Variety and IGN, is Reynolds' assertion that there will "eventually" be another movie because there are "a few really deep cuts" from the comics that he believes are currently missing from the cinematic adaptations. Club noted the actor's characteristic humor during the announcement process. This development is significant because it follows the commercial and critical momentum of Deadpool & Wolverine. The coverage from People.com highlights that the success of that specific project paved the way for Reynolds' return to the MCU. For long-time fans, as noted by IMDb, this is the specific news they have been waiting years to hear. The shift toward incorporating less common comic book references suggests a desire to expand the lore beyond the most well-known plotlines of the source material.

Looking ahead, attention is turning toward the potential casting and plot of the sequel. The Direct reports that Ryan Reynolds reportedly wants three big X-Men heroes to appear in Deadpool 4. While Marvel is officially working on the project, coverage does not yet specify a release date or a final script. Observers will be watching for further confirmation on which specific comic book "deep cuts" will be adapted and whether the rumored X-Men characters will officially join the cast of the next installment.
