## Executive Summary
Games Workshop is expanding the Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team universe with the introduction of the Aeldari Exodites and new Heresy squads.

## Intelligence Brief
Games Workshop has officially unveiled a new iteration of Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team. A primary focus of this announcement is the introduction of the Aeldari Exodites, who are transitioning to plastic miniatures for the first time. According to the Warhammer Community site, these Exodite units utilize draconic steeds to outfox their opponents on the battlefield. The integration of these specific units marks a significant update to the tactical options available within the Kill Team game system, providing new movement and combat dynamics through the use of these mounted creatures. Coverage of this development is being reported across multiple gaming and hobbyist outlets.

GameFragger.com highlights that the transition to plastic is a long-awaited move for the Aeldari Exodites. This outlet further specifies that pre-orders for the Kill Team: Exodite set are scheduled to open later in the current week. Meanwhile, ICv2 has focused its reporting on the broader unveiling of the new Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team product by Games Workshop, framing the release as a major update for the franchise's skirmish-scale gaming experience. The context surrounding this release centers on the material change for the Exodites. By moving to plastic miniatures, Games Workshop is making these units more accessible to a wider range of hobbyists compared to previous iterations.

The strategic value of the Exodites is tied to their draconic steeds, which the official Warhammer Community channel emphasizes as a key tactical advantage. This shift suggests a move toward diversifying the types of units available in the Kill Team environment, adding specialized mounted cavalry to the existing roster of infantry and specialists. Looking forward, the immediate focus for the community is the opening of the pre-order window. GameFragger.com confirms that these pre-orders will become available later this week, which will be the first opportunity for players to secure the new plastic Exodite miniatures.
