Tyson Fury prepares to face Mariusz Wach in Thailand, asserting that his peak performance is still ahead of him at nearly 38 years old.

## Intelligence Brief
Tyson Fury is scheduled to compete against Mariusz Wach in a boxing match taking place in Thailand. The bout is specifically for the Historic WBC METTA Humanitarian Belt, according to official communication from the World Boxing Council. Ahead of the contest, the fighter known as the 'Gypsy King' has made several public assertions regarding his current form and his outlook on the sport. Fury has explicitly stated that the 'best is yet to come' as he prepares for this international engagement, suggesting that his peak athletic capability has not yet been fully realized despite his age. Coverage of the event is widespread, with reports from major outlets including the BBC, Sky Sports, France 24, and Inquirer.net.

Sky Sports emphasizes the age factor, noting that Fury is nearly 38 years old while claiming the world has yet to see the absolute best version of him. The BBC focuses on the Briton's criticisms of contemporary athletes, reporting that Fury is taking aim at modern-day sports stars. Meanwhile, Sherdog describes the nature of Fury's return as taking a 'strange turn,' particularly in the context of a highly anticipated superfight involving Anthony Joshua. This matchup matters because it integrates humanitarian elements through the WBC METTA belt and serves as a critical step in Fury's ongoing career trajectory. The context of the fight is complicated by the looming prospect of a clash with Anthony Joshua, making the bout against Wach a significant precursor to that potential superfight.

The transition to a venue in Thailand adds a geographic layer to the event, moving the action away from traditional boxing hubs to a new international setting for this specific title contest. Observers will be monitoring the outcome of the fight against Mariusz Wach to see if Fury can substantiate his claims of being in his best form. The sports world will also be looking for updates regarding the status of the Anthony Joshua superfight, as Sherdog suggests the current trajectory of Fury's return is unconventional. Future developments will likely center on whether the 'Gypsy King' can secure the Historic WBC METTA Humanitarian Belt and how this victory or defeat influences the scheduling and terms of the anticipated matchup with Joshua.
