> **Open Intelligence Dossier** · First detected: 2026-07-23 05:07 UTC · Category: Technology

## Executive Summary
Leaked specifications for the Google Pixel Watch 5 suggest a RAM increase and Gemini AI support despite using a previous-generation processor.

## Intelligence Brief
Leaked information regarding the upcoming Google Pixel Watch 5 has surfaced via a Google Play Console listing and official press photos. According to reports from 9to5Google and GSMArena.com, the device is expected to feature the Snapdragon SW5100 processor. While this indicates there is no chip upgrade for this generation, the leaks highlight a memory increase to 3GB of RAM. Nokia Power User further reports that the watch will include support for Gemini AI, suggesting a focus on software intelligence over raw processing hardware upgrades. Various technology outlets are closely monitoring these developments ahead of Google's annual device launch event.

TechRadar has detailed the current state of the RAM situation and is aggregating all available leaks as the event approaches. Trusted Reviews reports that official press photos have already leaked, which specifically showcase the watch alongside four different colors of the Pixel 11. Android Authority has used these revelations to discuss potential flaws and improvements that could make the device more competitive in the current market. Contextually, the timing of these leaks is significant due to recent competitor activity. PhoneArena notes that these specifications may be viewed as a disappointment following the launch of Samsung's Galaxy Watch 9.

The decision to retain the Snapdragon SW5100 chip puts Google in a position where it must rely on the increased 3GB of RAM and the integration of Gemini AI to maintain its standing against Samsung's latest wearable offerings. Looking forward, the industry is waiting for the official confirmation during Google's annual device launch event. The primary points of interest will be whether the leaked 3GB of RAM and Gemini AI support are officially confirmed and how the four new Pixel 11 colors integrate with the watch's aesthetic. Coverage does not yet specify the exact date of the event or the final pricing for the hardware, but the press photos and console listings provide a concrete baseline for the expected hardware configuration.
