## Executive Summary
Law enforcement agencies across multiple U.S. cities have launched massive anti-trafficking operations coinciding with the World Cup.

## Intelligence Brief
Law enforcement agencies in several major American cities have executed a series of coordinated crackdowns on human trafficking activities occurring during the World Cup. In New York City, the NYPD has arrested 90 individuals and rescued dozens of survivors. Other significant operations took place in Georgia and Missouri. Specifically, in metro Atlanta, authorities conducted a sting operation that resulted in 153 arrests. Meanwhile, in Kansas City, the FBI reported that 19 individuals were arrested and nine children were found as part of the anti-trafficking efforts focused on the tournament period. Detailed coverage of these arrests has been provided by a wide range of regional and national outlets.

The New York Post and CBS News have highlighted the NYPD's efforts in rescuing dozens of survivors and apprehending 90 suspects. In the South, FOX 5 Atlanta and WSB-TV reported on the scale of the Atlanta sting, focusing on the total of 153 arrests. In the Midwest, KOMU 8 reported on the FBI's specific findings in Kansas City regarding the recovery of children. On the West Coast, NBC Bay Area and KRON4 have documented that 25 people were arrested during the World Cup trafficking operation in the Bay Area. These operations are occurring against the backdrop of the World Cup, an event that appears to be the central catalyst for these concentrated law enforcement actions across different jurisdictions. The diverse geography of the arrests—stretching from the Bay Area and New York City to Atlanta and Kansas City—indicates a broad, multi-city effort to combat trafficking networks.

The involvement of both local police departments, such as the NYPD, and federal agencies like the FBI suggests a layered strategy to secure host regions and protect vulnerable populations during the international sporting event. Future developments will likely depend on the legal processing of the hundreds of arrested individuals across these cities. Based on the provided coverage, observers should watch for further updates from the FBI regarding the status of the nine children found in Kansas City. Additionally, the NYPD and officials in Atlanta and the Bay Area may provide more information on the survivors rescued or the specific nature of the charges brought against the 153 people arrested in Atlanta, the 90 in New York, and the 25 in the Bay Area.
