According to reports from USA Today and People.com, the two figures were recognized together for their contributions to civil rights. As part of the event, Bruce Springsteen delivered a live performance of the song 'Streets of Minneapolis' during the ACLU Biennial Leadership Conference. The ceremony also included appearances by other notable figures, such as Charli XCX, adding to the high-profile nature of the gathering in the nation's capital.
