## Executive Summary
Irvine police are hunting for a suspect who targeted 13 Tesla vehicles with offensive spray paint across Southern California parking garages.

## Intelligence Brief
Law enforcement agencies in Orange County are currently searching for a male suspect linked to a spray-painting spree targeting Tesla vehicles. According to reports from KTLA and CBS News, the individual has allegedly tagged a total of 13 Teslas. The incidents occurred within parking garages located in Irvine, California. The suspect is accused of using spray paint to deface these vehicles, with the spree taking place over the course of a single week. Local authorities are actively seeking the identity and location of the man responsible for these acts of vandalism. Coverage from multiple outlets, including NBC Los Angeles and ABC7 Los Angeles, emphasizes the specific nature of the graffiti.

ABC7 reports that the vandal used 'Nazi' and 'fascist' writings to tag the cars. The Orange County Register further describes these words as 'offensive.' To assist in the investigation, Irvine police have released new video footage of the man suspected of carrying out the attacks. Other outlets, such as the New York Post and Yahoo, highlight the speed of the spree, noting that more than a dozen vehicles were hit within a seven-day window. Context provided by Patch indicates that the spree escalated quickly, with the 'Tesla Tagger' striking nine additional cars in a single Orange County parking garage. This pattern of targeting a specific brand of vehicle suggests a deliberate focus on Tesla owners. The use of politically charged and hateful language, as detailed by ABC7, elevates the situation from simple property damage to the dissemination of offensive and extremist rhetoric in public spaces.

This targeted behavior has prompted a coordinated effort by Irvine police to identify the perpetrator through surveillance and public tips. Moving forward, the primary focus for law enforcement is the analysis of the video footage shared by Irvine police to secure a positive identification of the suspect. Future developments will likely depend on whether the police can match the footage to a specific individual or if more vehicles are found to have been tagged in the region. Coverage does not yet specify if any arrests have been made or if the suspect has been named. Authorities continue to urge anyone with information regarding the man seen in the video to contact the police to help end the spree.
