## Executive Summary
Romania has reported the downing of three drones in three consecutive days, with officials attributing the incursions to Russia.

## Intelligence Brief
According to reports from France 24, this event marks the third day in a row that a drone has been intercepted within Romanian territory. This specific incident follows a pattern of aerial incursions occurring over a three-day window, as detailed by Ukrainska Pravda. The military action involved the use of a Romanian jet to neutralize the unauthorized unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) shortly after it crossed into the nation's borders. Coverage of the event is being provided by several international outlets including Politico, France 24, and Ukrainska Pravda. Politico specifically highlights that Romania is blaming Russia for these repeated aerial incursions.

The reports emphasize the frequency of these events, noting that the military has now downed three drones in three days. While the operational details of the shoot-down are described as a swift response by a Romanian jet, the outlets focus heavily on the sequential nature of the intrusions, which suggests a sustained period of airspace instability. This situation is significant because it involves a NATO member state reporting direct airspace violations and attributing them to Russia. The context provided by the coverage indicates a pattern of escalation or persistence, where drones have appeared daily for three consecutive days. By naming Russia as the responsible party, the Romanian government is framing these events not as isolated malfunctions or accidental drifts, but as intentional acts.

The involvement of military jets to intercept the UAVs underscores the gravity with which the Romanian military is treating these incursions. Future developments to monitor include whether Romania will seek further diplomatic or military responses to these violations. Based on the facts provided by Politico and other sources, observers are watching for any official Russian response to the accusations. Additionally, the reports from Ukrainska Pravda and France 24 suggest a focus on whether this three-day streak of drone sightings will continue or if the Romanian military will implement new measures to prevent further airspace breaches by UAVs originating from Russia.
