## Executive Summary
Hisense is challenging traditional televisions with the launch of the PX4 Pro, a 4K ultra short-throw laser projector capable of 200-inch displays.

## Intelligence Brief
Hisense has officially launched the PX4 Pro, a high-end ultra short-throw projector designed to serve as a cinema-grade entertainment system for the home. According to coverage from Yahoo News Canada, the device has officially gone live for consumers. The PX4 Pro is specifically engineered to deliver a massive screen experience, with Mashable noting that the projector can produce a 200-inch cinema screen within a residential setting. Because it is an ultra short-throw model, New Atlas reports that the device is capable of beaming wall-filling 4K imagery while positioned only inches away from the projection surface, eliminating the need for long-distance mounting. Multiple technology and consumer outlets are emphasizing the hardware specifications of the new unit. AndroidGuys identifies the PX4 Pro as a 4K laser projector tailored for home theaters, while Mashable specifies that the device utilizes a triple laser system.

New Atlas further clarifies the technology by describing it as an RGB laser projector. CE Pro focuses on the market positioning of the product, describing it as a tool for bringing premium cinema and big-screen entertainment directly into the home environment. The collective reporting across these platforms highlights a shift toward hardware that blends the scale of a movie theater with the convenience of a home appliance. This trend is framed by a broader movement toward TV-replacing short-throw projectors, a category specifically highlighted by Trend Hunter. The significance of this technology lies in the ability to achieve massive screen sizes—up to 200 inches—without the installation complexities of traditional long-throw projectors. By utilizing RGB triple laser technology, the PX4 Pro attempts to provide the image quality associated with 4K resolution while maintaining a physical footprint that allows the projector to sit nearly flush against the wall.

This positions the device not just as a secondary screen, but as a primary replacement for large-format televisions in the living room. Future developments and consumer interest will likely center on the availability and acquisition of the hardware. Mashable has already begun addressing the practicalities of the rollout by providing information on where to buy the PX4 Pro. As the device moves from its launch phase into general availability, the focus remains on how the ultra short-throw capabilities and triple laser 4K output perform in real-world home theater environments. Coverage currently identifies the product as a premium offering, and further updates are expected as users integrate these wall-filling displays into their home entertainment setups.
