## Executive Summary
ABC has officially announced its fall 2026 premiere schedule, featuring returning favorites like 9-1-1, Dancing With the Stars, and Scrubs.

## Intelligence Brief
ABC has released the official premiere dates for several of its major television programs for the fall 2026 season. According to reports from The Hollywood Reporter, TVLine, and Deadline, the network has set the return dates for high-profile series including 9-1-1, Dancing With the Stars, and Scrubs. Additionally, coverage from ABC7 Chicago notes that Abbott Elementary is among the favorite shows returning to the network's lineup. The scheduling announcements provide viewers with a timeline for when these specific series will debut their new episodes as the autumn television cycle begins. Industry outlets such as TV Insider and Deadline have highlighted specific scheduling details for these premieres.

TV Insider specifically notes that Dancing With the Stars will feature a two-night premiere event. Deadline further specifies that the fall 2026 slate includes Grey's Anatomy and a duo of 9-1-1 related content. The coverage across these entertainment news sites emphasizes a broad return of established hits, though The Hollywood Reporter explicitly mentions that Celebrity Jeopardy! is not included in this particular set of debut dates. This announcement comes amid a larger industry trend of networks finalizing their autumn calendars to capture seasonal viewership. While the focus of these reports is on ABC, IMDb reports that CBS has also revealed its fall 2026 premiere dates for returning shows, which includes the airing of two special episodes of Ghosts.

The simultaneous release of schedules from major networks like ABC and CBS indicates a coordinated push to establish the competitive landscape for the upcoming television year across the American broadcast market. Moving forward, viewers and industry analysts will be monitoring the specific calendar dates as they are further detailed. While the general set of premiere dates is now known, coverage does not yet specify the exact day and time for every individual episode beyond the two-night event for Dancing With the Stars. Observers will likely track the missing dates for programs such as Celebrity Jeopardy! and look for further updates from ABC regarding the complete distribution of its fall 2026 programming grid.
