## Executive Summary
NBC is rebranding 'The Voice' for 2027 with a celebrity edition featuring Joe Jonas as a coach and a significant change in hosting duties.

## Intelligence Brief
NBC has announced a new celebrity edition of the music competition series 'The Voice,' which is scheduled to air in 2027. According to reports from Deadline and The Hollywood Reporter, the upcoming season will transition to a celebrity-focused format. Deadline specifically highlights that Joe Jonas has been secured as a coach for this iteration. This shift represents a broader change for the production, as TODAY.com notes that the series will introduce not only new coaches but also a new host and an updated format to accommodate the celebrity participants. Coverage of these developments is widespread across entertainment news outlets.

Deadline and The Hollywood Reporter focus on the 2027 timeline and the addition of Joe Jonas to the coaching panel. Meanwhile, TODAY.com emphasizes that the celebrity edition involves a comprehensive overhaul of the show's structure and personnel. Adding to the news is the-sun.com, which reports that Carson Daly is quietly quitting the program after serving for 30 seasons. This departure marks a major transition for the series, moving away from the long-term stability provided by Daly's tenure. To understand the current stakes, it is necessary to note that 'The Voice' is entering this new phase after 30 seasons with Carson Daly.

Yahoo News Singapore reports that the production has reportedly tapped an iconic celebrity to replace Daly as the host, though the specific identity of this individual has not been disclosed in the provided headlines. The transition from a standard competition to a celebrity edition suggests a strategic pivot for NBC as it seeks to refresh the brand for its 2027 season through new leadership and a modified competition style. Moving forward, observers will be watching for the official reveal of the iconic celebrity chosen to replace Carson Daly. While the-sun.com has reported Daly's exit, the identity of the new host remains a primary point of speculation in the coverage from Yahoo News Singapore. Additionally, further details regarding the full roster of new coaches beyond Joe Jonas and the specific changes to the show's format are expected as NBC prepares for the 2027 launch of the celebrity edition.
