## Executive Summary
Cedar Point is partnering with the Diablo video game franchise to introduce a new haunted maze for its HalloWeekends event.

## Intelligence Brief
Cedar Point has officially announced the addition of a new haunted attraction titled Diablo: The Infernal Path. This upcoming experience is a themed maze based on the hit video game series of the same name and is scheduled to debut as part of the 2027 HalloWeekends season. The announcement was made on Friday, introducing a crossover between the gaming world and the amusement park's seasonal Halloween festivities. The attraction aims to bring the specific atmosphere of the Diablo universe to the physical environment of the park's haunted offerings. Coverage of the announcement has been widespread across several regional and niche news outlets. The Sandusky Register provided specific details regarding the name of the maze and its slated debut in 2027.

Local news sources including Cleveland.com, ClickOnDetroit's WDIV Local 4, and beaconjournal.com have all reported on the debut of the Diablo-themed haunted attraction for HalloWeekends. Additionally, Bleeding Cool News highlighted that the Diablo partnership extends beyond Cedar Point, noting that the franchise is also joining Kings Dominion for Halloween celebrations. This development represents a strategic integration of a popular intellectual property into the theme park's seasonal programming. By utilizing the Diablo video game series, Cedar Point is creating a physical manifestation of the game's infernal themes to attract fans of the franchise. The move suggests an expansion of the HalloWeekends brand through collaborations with established media properties. The inclusion of Kings Dominion in the rollout indicates that this is a broader initiative across multiple parks rather than a localized event restricted to a single location.

Looking forward, the primary focus will be the development and eventual opening of Diablo: The Infernal Path during the 2027 season. Further details regarding the specific layout of the maze or the nature of the scares are not yet detailed in the current coverage. Observers will be watching for more information on how the video game's narrative is translated into a walking attraction. The coordination between Cedar Point and Kings Dominion suggests a coordinated effort to leverage the Diablo brand across different regional parks for the upcoming Halloween cycles.
