## Executive Summary
Houthis claim a Saudi refinery strike as Reuters notes renewed assaults on Yemen's Mocha port.

## Intelligence Brief
In the same timeframe, Reuters reported that the Houthis resumed attacks on Yemen's Mocha port city, citing a statement from a Yemeni military spokesperson. The piece focuses on the renewed hostilities in Mocha, a key port for Yemen's maritime trade, and attributes the information to an official Yemeni military source. While the trend notes the Houthi claim of a Saudi refinery attack, the Reuters report does not provide further details on that claim, leaving the specifics of the Saudi incident unverified within the current coverage. The Houthis, a rebel movement in Yemen with documented ties to Iran, have a history of targeting Saudi infrastructure as part of the broader regional conflict.

Mocha port holds strategic importance for Yemen's economy, serving as a conduit for imports and exports. Attacks on Saudi oil facilities align with the group's past pattern of striking high-value energy assets to exert pressure on Saudi interests. The resurgence of violence in Mocha underscores the group's capacity to operate on multiple fronts, challenging both Yemeni security forces and neighboring states. Observers should monitor forthcoming statements from the Houthis for confirmation of the Saudi refinery strike and watch for any official response from Saudi authorities.

Additional reporting from Reuters or other news agencies may clarify the extent of damage, casualty figures, or retaliatory measures. Tracking further developments at Mocha port will also be essential to assess the impact on Yemen's trade flow and regional stability.
